Les infections cutanées sont fréquentes, le plus souvent banales. Rarement, elles sont graves et mettent en jeu le pronostic vital. Leur prise en charge thérapeutique est difficile.
Nous illustrons dans cet exposé, le cas de madame F. A. âgée de 72 ans, hospitalisée dans le service de chirurgie maxillo- faciale du CHU de Sétif qui suite a un traumatisme facial bénin a compliquée d’une fasciite nécrosante faciale étendue qui était liée aux soins.
Apres discussion et revue de littérature, nous insisterons sur la prévention de ce type de pathologie.
